The Waltz Series is a social club of people who love to dance – especially the Viennese waltz. On four evenings each year, members and guests gather to enjoy dinner and dancing to live music. Members dress in formal attire – the gentlemen in white tie and tails, the ladies in long gowns – to enhance the pleasure of the waltzes. Guests may wear white tie or black tie. According to custom, seating is by couples, and each gentleman dances a minimum of one time with each lady at his table. Table-hopping is traditional. The Paul Jones mixer helps to create a relaxed, convivial atmosphere.

The Frick’s annual Young Fellows Ball, now in its twenty-second year, is consistently named by The New York Times as one of New York City’s top social events of the season. Benefiting programs at the museum and Frick Art Reference Library, the Ball is attended by more than five hundred guests, including many of the Frick’s most dedicated young supporters.

The British Ball is St. George’s Society of New York’s annual black-tie gala typically held each spring to recognize distinguished members of the Anglo-American and Commonwealth community and SGSNY’s charitable mission.
For over 80 years, the Kosciuszko Foundation’s Ball has been the premier social event in the 10 million-strong Polish-American community and the most important fundraiser supporting Foundation’s mission. The Foundation awards over $1 million annually in grants, fellowships, and scholarships, and on average, 200 scholars, scientists, students, and artists benefit from the Foundation’s financial assistance.
Every spring, sailors, sailing enthusiasts and party people gather for the Annual Sailors Ball. Proceeds from the Sailors Ball benefit the New York Harbor Sailing Foundation.
